In practical usage, lithium ion batteries (LIBs) pack is placed in a confined space. Due to the insufficient heat dissipation, thermal runaway (TR) and propagation more likely occur. Thus, developing highly-efficient suppression agent for TR its space of great significance. this paper, effect liquid nitrogen (LN 2 ) on LIBs investigated. effectiveness LN under different injection amount, position, state charge (SOC) heating power are As observed, battery difficult dissipate.
